Just arrived here in Dallas after 4 hours of nervebreaking turbulent flight experience due to heavy snow and storm… What a day it has been… waking up 4 am to catch an early flight… even that it was uncertain as to plane will take off on time or not due to the weather conditions…So it is a bit of relief that we arrived safely here.
As I came to spent about a week with my parents, it is a mixed feeling, good and sad, (good b/c it is special to be home with parents as I only be able to see them once a year around this time and sad because both of my parents are really aging…. can’t stop the time… and one day we all be sick and limited due to aging illnesses)
Well, hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas day with friends and families. As you do so, please don’t forget about what this Christmas is all about… It is not so much gifts and food as grace of God that God freely gave you what you need even though you don’t deserve it and can never repay Him- that is, He sacrificed His own son Jesus Christ to be with us (remember Immanuel, literally means “God with us” that I preached last Sunday^^). Like someone said, “Grace is the face of God when he looks at your faults, failure, and fears.” Therefore the Christmas is all about Grace which accroding to Living Life Q.T. book, stands for God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.
Alright folks! Whether you are traveling or in-town, I pray for healthy, happy and grace-filled Christmas Holidays!
