What is Cell Ministry?
Our cell groups offer an informal meeting and gathering place during the weekday in addition to our Sunday service, biblically modeled after the first church. (Acts 2:42)
In the human body, the basic unit of life is the cell. In a cell church, the basic unit of the body of Christ is the cell group. This basic unit is the means by which Christian community is built and the work of the kingdom is performed.
The small group and home group components of the cell church enables the presence of Christ to be manifested in relationships between caring Christians. In this environment, people are edified and equipped to minister. Non-believers are saved and discipled. Leadership is raised up and mentored. This weekly worship becomes a time of praise and celebration centered on the glory of God.
It is this loving, bonded community of believers, which is the manifested body of Christ, that reaches out to non-believers and brings Christ to the world (John 13:35). Members and new believers are taught to know, grow, serve and share Jesus. A cell church actively seeks to develop each Christian into the likeness of Christ.
In addition to the small cell ministry, we also offer extensive training programs to help you take your faith to the next level.
How do I join?
We would love to have you join one of our many cell groups, and it is one of the best ways to get to know other members of our church. Please contact the shepherd of a cell group that best fits you to get started!
